Get to know Dr. Johnson

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona she went on to obtain her medical degree at the University Of Arizona School Of Medicine in Tucson, AZ where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha – the most prestigious medical honor society. During medical school she spent an additional research year at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA) studying craniofacial sutures and the effects of surgical intervention and manipulation on skeletal growth.

Dr. Johnson specializes in both reconstructive and aesthetic Plastic Surgery of the entire body. She trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – voted the #1 Plastic Surgery Residency in the country. Beyond the foundations of learning how to be a skilled and safe reconstructive surgeon, she pursued further training with renowned plastic surgeons across various institutions focusing on facial rejuvenation, breast reconstruction, and body contouring.

She believes every patient is unique and requires a specialized approach to surgery – whether it is deemed “reconstructive” or “cosmetic”, Dr. Johnson seeks to restore form and function, in a beautiful and safe manner, from pediatrics to geriatrics and everyone in between.

Patients of Dr. Johnson’s appreciate her knowledge and expertise, coupled with an approachable and caring demeanor.

She enjoys accompanying patients through their surgical journey knowing that with restoration or improvement in one’s appearance, comes a renewed sense of self with increased confidence and self-esteem.

As the first person in her family to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Johnson is thrilled to bring her skills and medical expertise back to the heart of the Midwest with her husband and family. Outside of the operating room, she enjoys cooking/baking, weight-lifting/spinning (which allows more of the former activity), as well as boating and skiing.

Get to know Andrea Delzer, PA

Originally from Fergus Falls, MN, Andrea has over a decade of high-quality patient care experience. She works with Dr. Chelsey Johnson in the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery department.

Andrea received her Master of Clinical Health Services in the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care. Andrea most recently served as a PA at a fast-paced medical spa in Tacoma, WA where she provided cosmetic injectables and performed platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections as well as other skin enhancing treatments. She offers injectables such as botox and dysport, platelet rich plasma injections, soft tissue fillers, SkinPen Microneedling, and various laser services including laser hair removal. Prior to being in Washington, she has served as a Respiratory Therapist in Puyallup, WA and at the Sanford Sleep Medicine Center in Fargo, ND.

Moving back home, Andrea is enjoying spending quality time with her husband and family. She also likes running, lifting weights, and anything that helps keep her active.
